School-Based Professional Development

In addition to providing off-site workshops, I am happy to work with schools during their Professional Learning Days. Often this may take the form of a short keynote, followed by a series of hands-on workshops with groups of staff (or the whole staff where we cover topics like

• Web 2.0 tools like blogs and wikis
• Creating beautiful output with free multimedia resources
• Collaboration using Google Apps and MS live
• Using tablets and mobile devices
• Using new software in the classroom
• Cyberbullying and Cybersafety

The day may be rounded off with a summary, a plenary session, a panel, an open Q &A or even a parent workshop. I am happy to tailor a day which suits your staff.
